Larry Frye, Violin: A founding member of the Heritage String Quartet, Larry is also a luthier - that is, a string instrument maker and repairer, who operates the String Instrument Workshop in Green Bay. Larry holds a B.M. Ed. from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and plays violin in the Green Bay Civic Symphony. He has played in a number of other Wisconsin and Minnesota orchestras and has performed as a free-lance player for major touring acts. Larry is also the manager of the quartet.

Darlene Bentz, Violin: Darlene currently teaches Suzuki Violin and General Music at the Wisconsin International School in DePere, WI. She has a B.M. Ed. from Northwestern University and also maintains a private teaching studio in Green Bay. She is principal second violin in the Green Bay Civic Symphony and also freelances in the Green Bay area.

Jane Bradshaw Finch, Viola: Jane holds an M.A. in Music from the University of Michigan, an M.M. Ed. from the American Suzuki Institute, and is the Suzuki Director for the Menasha School District. She plays in the Fox Valley and Green Bay Symphonies and has served as principal viola in a number of Michigan, Wisconsin and Ontario orchestras.

Adam Brown, Cello: Adam Butler Brown is an orchestra teacher in the Fond du Lac School District and holds a B. M. from Lawrence University and an M. M. from Northwestern University, both in music education. He has played cello in several Wisconsin orchestras including the Oshkosh, Fox Valley, Green Bay, Green Bay Civic, and Beaver Dam Area Orchestras. Adam has also been the cello sectional coach of the Fox Valley Youth Symphony since 2006. Along with education, his musical interests include conducting, arranging and composing, and music history. Adam lives in Appleton with his wife Julie, also a music educator, and their two cats Melissa and Rosa.
